Verify that MSN transport works correctly

Description

I have a report or two indicating that the MSN transport feigns successful credentials at registration and also doesn't properly log in. Need to investigate.

I can not reproduce any issues with MSN at this time.

Regarding the last comment, that sounds like a firewall related issue – both Yahoo and MSN make use of HTTPS to handle their authentication steps and typically you see that error when there is a proxy requirement on HTTPS or HTTP for the network you are on.

That said, I intend to try a few more things to investigate this after the 1.1.3 release.

I keep getting this message sent to me from my MSN Transport:
Fehler beim Senden von The password you registered with is incorrect. Please re-register with the correct password. ( undefined-condition )
(first part is german for Error while sending ...)

in the log i only found this:

java.net.SocketException: Socket is closed

2010.08.14 17:20:15 [org.jivesoftware.util.log.util.CommonsLogFactory$1.error(CommonsLogFactory.java:92)] error flushing remaining output on socket

(on a side note i also get this: Fehler beim Senden von Failed to log into Yahoo! messenger account. (unknown error) ( undefined-condition ) from Yahoo transport)
