Can not connect to LDAP/AD on new installations
On fresh installation, the setup wizard does not connect to LDAP over port 389, and cannot continue with ldap setup. Howerver, LDAPS on port 636 does work if support by the directory server.

This looks good - I'll see if I can find an LDAP server on port 389 to try it against.
I believe this is the necessary patch, but have no means to test it
