The Openfire admin console shows a little icon for s2s connections. This is a default image, unless a favicon can be loaded from the remote domain, in which case the favicon is used.
The favicon is currently only retrieved through HTTP. Some endpoints will only provide them through HTTPS. Openfire should attempt both.
