Upper- vs. lowercase in LDAP groups

Could someone with knowledge of the source code structure have a look?

I guess the problem is where the group members are fetched and not downcased as it is when the usernames are fetched.

If this is the case, it should be trivial to fix.

We would be glad about a fix as this is blocking our upgrade-migration.

It was a problem of a customer. Because of the experience with this bug and the information we got about the state of support and community around Openfire, they decided to switch to another software for their jabber server. Sorry!
