SMACK version 3.3.0 contains a resource leak that causes Spark to consume resources and not release after several days of continuous runtime. When this occurs, the host system will begin to behave strangely. SMACK version 3.3.1 (still not released as-of-writing this) appears to contain a fix. Spark will need to be updated to the latest SMACK lib when it's released and tested for this issue.
Please integrate the release of Smack 3.3.1 into the trunk.
Updated smack to 3.3.1
