As part of my implementation of MUC file transfer/sharing, I need to implement the SparkWeb side of the mix. The implementation is being developed in a way that should be portable across chat clients, even those that have no idea about the concept. However, SparkWeb will know about it, and will handle it very cleanly.
Stage one if this will be primarily just a file list with clickable downloads, deletes, and uploads. Stage two will include prettiness such as:
perhaps a tooltip that shows details (size, when uploaded, who uploaded, etc)
icons based off mime type (picture of word icon for word document, that sort of thing) Clearspace does this, it's also in the mockup, easy to pull off? Dunno. Should SparkWeb handle the icons or should the server hand off an icon in some way? (probably the former)
Dragging support? I don't think that's difficult. If OS supports it, drag to file chooser, done. Need to test that this is true.
