SSL support using stunnel

This is a message I received a while back from a user who used stunnel to get SSL support for Flash. Requires a minor tweak to specify a connection and server name so that stunnel can be run locally, but a remote server can be connected to.

I have a jabber server running at home using SSL and found that, alas, flash
won't let me connect to it... but I found a way around it.

First I set up stunnel and just made stunnel encrypt the traffic from a local
port to the real 5223 port. After doing this, using the libraries still did
not work.

I have devised a patch for to allow specifying both the server
name as well as an actual connection name to use.

server name:
connection: localhost
port: 5223

This allows people to successfully run stunnel on the local machine (or on some
other machine) so that proper ssl ecryption is done in order to get around the
"no-ssl in flash" deal.

Requires stunnel

Hi Sean, Sounds good. Is your patch available anywhere?
