Sorry for the delay, i'll try to give you as much details as i can (I apologize if it's not related to this issu).
When we send a ping to the openfire server through BOSH. The call sends the following xmpp ping :
the call waits for 60s before giving us an answer (an acknowledgment). On the server side we have the log that i posted in my previous comment.

It is unclear that the issue you are reporting is the same as this Jira issue. So you aren't receiving pings?

Please reproduce with a current release, 4.2.1
Users report that either xmpp.httpbind.client.idle setting is not working as it should, or that Openfire 4.x is not sending ping to BOSH clients as it was doing in 3.10.x.
