Reduce size of sparkweb

Description

sparkweb size is more than 2 MB and it should be smaller. Analyze whyit's so big and try reducing its size

Gato and I went over this today, and it's down to 0.6MB now, which seems fine. There's probably a little more room for optimization, but that can wait.

Progress so far: 2.7MB -> 1.9MB, including 140k or so taken out of the user download time

There's a lot of semi-low-hanging fruit left, primarily the jars in WEB-INF/lib, and duplicate emoticons.
