In the admin console, imho one important information is missing: the owner of the openfire process.
It could be shown in the Server Properties section, right below Server Directory.

This request is probably not as lame as it was, given the cloud environments things now run in and the lack of shell access for some deployments.

Removing the 'fix version' for all unresolved issues that were scheduled for version 7.8.2. We're releasing this version today - the remaining issues should be rescheduled later.

Ouch. How lame may an admin be? There is 'ps' for *nix and the task manager for Windows to get this information. I vote against this issue or a "WON'T FIX".
